Clearwing recently had the pleasure of working on the newly renovated theatre at Wauwatosa East High School in Wauwatosa, WI. The goal of the project was to try to restore some of the original beauty of the theatre while updating the audio reinforcement in the space. In an effort to try to minimize sightline restrictions, Clearwing used Innovox HLA 20 arrays powered by QSC network Amplifiers and controlled by a QSC Q-SYS DSP.To aid in covering the balcony spaces while again minimizing obstructions, we turned to Innovox’s HLA-UB1 and HLA-9XT-VIA 50s.

To make this space as versatile as possible, Clearwing installed video feeds and distributed audio to multiple rooms to allow the orchestra to support shows on stage from different locations. In the event that a performance is large enough to require extra space, the orchestra is able to accompany the performance from the orchestra room or backstage while maintaining full visual contact with the performance via cameras and monitors.

In addition to the audio, we installed a new Christie D12HD-H, Yamaha QL5, Yamaha Rio Racks, Clear-Com Communication, and Sennheiser 2000 Series Wireless microphones. View the portfolio here.

Looks like a great clean install! Wish more places had the means/budgeting to do integrating of multiple rooms, Qsys makes it so accessible.
